The only problem that we are having is this: at my home, I have 3 computers and one is usually set up as a dedicated server. I've downloaded the patches and, you're right, it blows Quake away. My friends and I have been playing GOTY for about 2 months now.

I just bought UT GOTY and can't install it. Can some one help me? Either send me an editor that works or direct me to a site that can help me. I can get the start screen to come up, but then the program stops responding.

Anyone experiencing problems, cut down on your extensions and/or contact me. 28K is a fairly low speed, yes? The game doesn't glitch, except for one level, AS-HiSpeed.

Octo17:27 EST #5 This is the best game ever. Hopefully, they improved the game to the level of Quake III. I'm still waiting for the Urban Terror 2 release. 
Graphics/gameplay is much better for Quake then for Urban Terror.

Trust me, once you get hardware rendering to work, UT will blow Quake 3 Arena out of the water. 12:40 EST #3 Eddie, I assume you are running the latest version of Unreal Tournament? Make sure you have version 436 (currently the latest). We tried to play Quake for a while and found that the weapons in UT were more fun and the secondary fire of each weapon only further enhanced gameplay. I have even learned how to develop my own maps that we play on occassion (although the editor only works on PCs). We are able to download new maps from the web, plus player modifications that include new game play as well as weapons. The Macs and PCs play well together for the most part. 10:09 EST #2 My co-workers and myself have been playing this game everyday since Dec of 99 and we are still not bored with it. $20 means I'm not out much, but the game should work a lot better than it does. No patches available from MacSoft either. Quake 3 works real well and looks even better. I like the game play, but it will only work with software rendering. 13:44 EST #1 I bought this game a few days ago.
